Energize Beacon Event

  • River Center 23 Long Dock Road Beacon, NY, 12508 United States (map)

The City of Beacon and the Beacon Conservation Advisory Council (CAC) are co-sponsoring the launch of Energize Beacon at Scenic Hudson's Long Dock Park River Center on Tuesday March 28th at 6:30pm. Energize Beacon, a program funded by a New York State grant, helps homeowners make intelligent decisions that increases comfort, reduces energy waste and saves money on utility and fuel oil (or propane) bills in their home.

The lecture will provide homeowners with information about ice dams, the house as a system, and the deeper science behind energy efficiency and New York State's Home Performance with ENERGY STAR program. Homeowners will also learn about the free (over 90% of all Beacon homeowners will qualify) or reduced cost assessment, state incentives and easy low-interest rate financing.

Please visit beacon.energizeny.org, call City Hall at 845-838-5010, or email Alice Quinn at info@energizeny.org for additional information.
